Grounding Cord Activation: A Knitting Workshop at OBSERVATORY | Williamsburg
This is an in-person workshop at OBSERVATORY | Williamsburg guided by Brandi Cheyenne Harper.
During my pop-up weekend, we are going to lean into slowness through a playful activation where I'll teach you how to knit on just 2 fingers ✌🏽 in under 30 minutes. Creating a simple woven cord, each stitch helps to ground you in your body and in the present moment. After the 2-finger knitting practice, we’ll learn a few ways to turn our cords into cute accessories to adorn our home and bodies.
No knitting experience required. Beginners welcome.
Workshop is $111 per person. Natural rope and a how-to zine with video support are included in the cost and will be provided at the time of the workshop.

Pop Up Market at OBSERVATORY | Williamsburg
Brandi Cheyenne Harper is popping up at OBSERVATORY | Williamsburg.
This a two-day pop-up, occuring on both Saturday, October 29th & Sunday, October 30th from 1-6pm on each day.
Selling in-person is one of my favorite things to do as an artist and I am so excited to release so much of my new work. At the pop-up market you will find handmade knitwear, ceramics, and books for the signing. The perfect gifts. Products designed to inspire your creativity, keep you warm, and beautify your home. If you already own a copy of my book, Knitting for Radical Self-Care: A Modern Guide published by Abrams Books earlier this year, please bring it by to be signed! I would love to meet you.
About the Space
OBSERVATORY | Williamsburg functions as the studio, gallery, and gathering space of OBSERVED, a New York based organization focused on building relationships with the natural world. In addition to my offerings, you will be able to shop their plants, apparel and accessories. We will also provide a seasonal botanical beverage featuring ingredients from SpringRise, the OBSERVED garden and nursery in Catskill, New York.
